If you are looking for the most affordable and highest quality rehearsal space rental in Indianapolis, Playground Productions Rehearsal Studio offers four options, our Orange Room, Blue Room, Solo Rehearsal/Lesson Room, and Private Facility Access Rehearsals. Our rehearsal studio can be used by musicians and groups or used as creative space for music/video production, classes, workshops, etc.
Our rehearsal spaces are self-serve and DIY style. Staff will only be available during your visit if you use the Schedule Rehearsal with Engineer options below. After you book, you will receive an email confirmation with all the info you need to access the space and operate your rehearsal.
If you need a private rental without any other clients in the space and free from noise interruptions, we recommend you choose a Private Rehearsal.

Blue Room
WINTER DISCOUNT: (ends Dec. 31)
$45 per hour, 2-hr minimum
$50 per hour
Day Rate (9am-Midnight): $700
1000 square feet, 26ft x 40ft open space with no enclosures, room is open to the rest of the facility. Best option for bands with more than 5 pieces, larger groups, and bands requiring a large space to set up stage layouts to prepare for touring.
This option is not private from other clients as it is open to the rest of the facility; there may be clients using the Orange Room or Solo Rehearsal Room as well as sharing of restroom & commons spaces. Book a Private Rehearsal to ensure exclusive access and avoid noise interruptions.

Orange Room
WINTER DISCOUNT: (ends Dec. 31)
$25 per hour, 2-hr minimum

Day Rate (9am-Midnight): $400
400 square feet, 20ft x20ft soundproofed and enclosed rehearsal space, best for smaller groups and up to 5 piece bands.
This option is in a private enclosed room, but there may be other clients using the Blue Room or Solo Rehearsal Room as well as sharing of restroom & common spaces. Book a Private Rehearsal to ensure exclusive access and avoid noise interruptions. If you need an engineer to help with your rehearsal, you must choose that option below.

Day Rate (9am-Midnight): $250
7ft x 9ft soundproofed & enclosed space, best for solo rehearsals or private lessons; from drummers to vocalists to guitar teachers.
This option is in a private enclosed room, but there may be other clients using the Orange Room or the Blue Room. Book a Private Rehearsal to ensure exclusive access and avoid noise interruptions.

Private Rehearsal
$80 per hour, 2-hr minimum
Day Rate (9am-Midnight): $1200
Exclusive access to the 2000 sq ft facility including the Orange, Blue, & Solo Rooms with no other clients onsite or renting spaces.
This option provides you with you full privacy, aside from staff members. A private rental is ideal for high profile clients, or for clients that wish to have exclusive access, or need to avoid noise interruptions.

Groups with Large Trucks:
- Stagehands are available to help unload and load equipment if needed for an additional $30 per hour per stagehand, with a 3-hour minimum required. Please call to arrange.
- Our loading garage is street level, so a ramp will be required for unloading/loading.
- Additional $25 per hour to add on engineer
- 2-hours minimum is included with every appointment type. Add additional engineer hours under “Add to my appointment” at booking.
- If you need more than 8 hours with an engineer, please call to schedule.
Rehearsal Hours
Monday-Sunday: 9:00am-Midnight
Engineers are not available for Add on an Engineer option on holidays, including: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
