Half-O-Ween in Irvington: April 25, 12pm-5pm
Join us for the 2nd annual Half-O-Ween in Irvington on April 25th, from 12pm-5pm at Playground Productions & the Coal Yard Complex at 5529 Bonna Ave. This event is sponsored by Chilly Water Brewing Co, the Irvington Community Council, and Steele Strings & Sobar.
In Irvington, the week leading up to Halloween is the midwest’s version of Mardi Gras! With Half-O-Ween, we are bringing in that vibe at the halfway point to Halloween! This event is FREE to ALL AGES to attend! Come dressed in your best costume and let’s celebrate the halfway point to Halloween in Halloweentown USA!
- Vendor Village with 33 vendors and food vendors including Smash’D Burger
- Psychic readings by Magick Candle with proceeds going to Gaia Works (local non-profit food pantry that feeds the elderly)
- Local beer, cider and wine for sale
- Live entertainment

Black Hats Society Cackling Contest & Witches Dance
Kids Cackling Contest: Sign up at the Black Hats Booth at 1:00pm.
Adults Cackling Contest: Sign up at the Black Hats Booth at 2:15pm.
Learn the Witches’ Dance: Be at the stage area at 3:45pm.
Scary-oke Costume Karaoke Contest
Sign ups begin at 3pm near the performance area/sound booth.
All ages.
Spots are limited; First come first serve.
Rules:
- Scary-oke contestants must be in costume and provide a song that coordinates with costume.
