Playground Productions Rehearsal Discounts
Playground Productions is pleased to offer off-peak discounts Monday-Friday from the hours of 9am-5pm for our Orange Room & Blue Room. Discounts are available for 2-hour, 3-hour, and 4-hour rehearsal blocks!
How the Discount Works
- Discount will automatically be applied to any rehearsal scheduled between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
- Discounts do not apply if you schedule a rehearsal, for example, from 4pm-6pm, 3pm-7pm, etc.
- For any rehearsal going past the 5pm, please book on the Rehearsal Spaces page.
- Discounts do not apply to any rehearsal scheduled at 5pm or later.
How Our Rehearsal Spaces Work
Our rehearsal spaces are self-serve (kind of like an airbnb), staff will not be on site during your rehearsal. Please note, engineers are not available as an add on for discounted rehearsals.
After you book, you will receive an email confirmation with all the info you need to access the space and operate your rehearsal. Clients are responsible for setting up the equipment to meet their own needs and are also responsible to tear down and return the room to the state it was in when it was found. If using the drum set, clients are to setup and teardown the kit and return to their respective cases.
If you need a private rental without any other clients in the space and free from noise interruptions, we recommend you choose the Private Rehearsal on the Rehearsal Spaces page.
Orange Room
$25 per hour, 2-hr, 3-hr & 4-hr Blocks Available
400 square feet, 20ft x20ft soundproofed and enclosed rehearsal space, best for smaller groups and up to 5 piece bands.
This option is in a private enclosed room, but there may be other clients using other rehearsal spaces and sharing of restroom & common spaces in the studio. Use the Private Rehearsal option on the Rehearsal Spaces to ensure exclusive access and to avoid noise interruptions.

- Boss Katana 100 watt guitar amp
- Crate 30 watt amp
- Fender Rumble 40 watt bass combo amp
- DI boxes also available for plugging in bass to PA system.

Equipment Add-ons (available for an additional cost):
- Arturia Keylab 88 Mkii Midi Controller w/ weighted keys/hammer action w/ sound module. Select add-on on your booking screen.

- Wi-Fi: Login details will be provided in your rehearsal confirmation email.
- Ethernet access (must provide your own cable)

Equipment Storage:
- We do not offer any short term or long term equipment storage for Orange Room rentals.

Blue Room
$50 per hour, 2-hr, 3-hr & 4-hr Blocks Available
1000 square feet, 26ft x 40ft open space with no enclosures, room is open to the rest of the facility. Best option for bands with more than 5 pieces, larger groups, and bands requiring a large space to set up stage layouts to prepare for touring.
This option is not private from other clients as it is open to the rest of the facility; there may be other clients other rehearsal spaces and shared restroom & commons spaces. Use the Private Rehearsal option on the Rehearsal Spaces page below to ensure exclusive access and to avoid noise interruptions.

- Crate VC-50H Tube Guitar Head with 2×10” cabinet
- DI boxes available for plugging in bass to PA system. No bass amp.
