24 Track Recording Studio in Indianapolis
Playground Productions Studio, recording studio in Indianapolis, has three rooms dedicated to recording: a 1000 sq ft room, a 400 sq ft room, and an isolation room. Our recording studio is currently setup to record 24 tracks simultaneously. Recording artists have access to a variety of microphone brands at our recording studio, such as Sontronics, Audio Technica, Blue, Marshall, Audix, and Shure.
We record all genre/styles of music, including but not limited to: rock, indie rock, alternative, punk, pop, metal, R&B/sould, hip hop/rap, jazz, Blues, folk, country, classical, world music, and more! We also record podcasts and audiobooks.

Our Recording Services
Solo Artist Recording Rate
$70 per hour (2 Hour Minimum)
Day Rate (8 Hours): $520
- By appointment only, Monday-Friday

Band/Group Recording Rate
$80 per hour (2 Hour Minimum)
Day Rate (8 Hours): $600

Mixing & Mastering Rates
$65 per hour (Playground recording clients)
$80 per hour (pre-recorded material, not recorded at Playground)
- Up to 2 hours of recording time you paid for but didn’t use can be applied to mastering or refunded.
- Video production rates are also included in mixing & mastering rate.
- IMPORTANT: Any overbooked time of 2 or more hours will not be refunded or applied towards mastering.
- We cannot complete mastering on the same day as the recording.
- Many factors are involved in mastering (number of songs, number of musicians, number of instruments, client requests, etc).
- In general for up to 4-5 songs, the process could take up to a week or more. For more than 5 songs, the mastering process could take several weeks. The timeline will be discussed with you when we begin the mastering process.
- Recorded tracks will be released when and if full balance is paid.
- Mastered tracks or mixes will be released as client has paid for them per our mastering rates.
We can accept all major credit cards or cash for mastering services.
